NEW LICENSE
A healthcare professional license is mandatory in order to work in the healthcare sector in the UAE. Eligibility to obtain a license varies based on profession and title, including physicians, dentists, nurses, midwives, and allied healthcare workers. The DoH, DHA, and MoH all follow the Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements, but issue licenses specific to the emirate where one wishes to work. It is important to decide which emirate one plans to work in, as terms and conditions for examination and activation of the license may differ.
